Kerry started her carrier at 16 years old as a pool lifeguard and has, in time, gained the knowledge, experience and qualification to teach pool lifeguard courses and more. I have my own mannequins and projector and can teach a pool lifeguard course anywhere as I’m an approved training provider.

Pool Lifeguard courses

My courses range from £240 per person with all the course material needed. I also do an AED add-on to pool lifeguard.

Course are normally 5 days with the assessment added, depending on venue and pool times, course time may change.

Do you need an assessor? I can assess your lifguard candidates, new or renewal. At £20 per person.

Emergency response- pool

The emergency response pool is designed for health clubs and hotels operators who operate a swimming pool which is not directly supervised. This is a 13 hour course with AED and PXB board as optional extra. This training can be onsite. Courses start £120 per person.

NRASTAC (National Rescue award for swimming teachers and coaches)

This award is a supervision and rescue qualification for swimming teachers working on the poolside. This is a 14 hour course with exam on additionally Course start for £120  per person.

Save an adult, child and Babies life

survive and save programme 12years plus

The RLSS survive and save programme is our lifesaving award scheme for anyone aged 12 years and over. The awrds are challenging but fun to complete and are arranged into Bronze, silver and gold levels to ensure that participants getb the opportunity to develop their lifesaving skills as they progress through the awards. i can run a course near you.

water saftey programme

More then 700 people drown in the uk and irland every year and many more have non-fatal experiances sometimes suffering life changing injuries. At the RlSS we work tirelessly to eductae people to enjoy water safkey, to keep their families and friends safe and to know what to do in emergancy. i can come to your school, or scout/ guide group to help educate them on water safety.

First Aid

Certification
Summative practical assessment is ongoing by the instructor each day, along with a written assessment on each day. A three year Level 3 Award in Emergency First Aid at Work (Level 6 in Scotland) will be issued to the learner, subject to successful assessment. No external assessors are required.

Numbers
A maximum of 12 students are allowed and must be a minimum of 14 years of age and a certificate can be offered to all, subject to assessment. A student cannot assume a responsibility in the workplace until they reach the age of 16, and then it is the employers’ responsibility to ensure that the student is suitable for that role. The certificate will expire as dated on the certificate, irrespective of age.

CPR & AED

Level 2 CPR and AED (Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation and Automated External Defibrillation): 1-day course

Heart and circulatory disease claims around 200,000 lives each year. Many could have been saved if a defibrillator was made available.

Automated External Defibrillators (AEDs) are now becoming more common throughout a range of public and workplaces. A casualty’s survival rate will dramatically increase if an AED is available and if you have appropriately qualified personnel to use it.

1-Day Oxygen Therapy Administration Course
1-Day Oxygen Therapy Administration Course.

This training enables users to administer oxygen safely and effectively, for casualties with breathing difficulties. Delegates will learn how and when to administer oxygen to a casualty and the safety concerns with carrying, storing and administering it.

This course is suitable for qualified First Aiders, Emergency First Aiders, dental practitioners and dental care professionals, nurses, healthcare professionals and others working in an environment where oxygen is available for casualty welfare.

2-Day Outdoors First Aid Course
Level 3 Outdoor First Aid : 2-day course

If your assessment of First Aid needs highlights the need for qualified First Aiders in outdoor activity, then this Level 3 qualification will provide you with suitable and highly trained personnel.

This comprehensive two-day course covers a wide range of First Aid emergencies, enabling all participants to deal with emergency situations with confidence in a prompt, safe and effective way, particularly where professional medical help is not immediately available.

Anaphylaxis Management Courses

Level 3 Immediate Management of Anaphylaxis : 1 day course

An Anaphylactic shock, or anaphylaxis, is a life-threatening, serious allergic reaction to an allergen such as food substances or insect stings. If it is not treated appropriately, it may cause death. This training is for qualified First Aiders and Emergency First Aiders to enable them to recognise and treat anaphylaxis safely and effectively.
When administering a medication, it is important to recognise and differentiate between allergic reactions and the potentially life-threatening anaphylactic reactions immediately. It is also essential to determine whether the individual has had an allergic or anaphylactic response to the medication in the past or prior to administration.
This course is suitable for all First Aiders and healthcare professionals, as well as those in a high risk environment where such medication is available.

Emergency Paediatric First Aid: 1-day course.

This one-day Emergency Paediatric First Aid course has been designed for those who have an interest in child and infant basic life support.

If you have a professional interest, i.e. you are a child-minder or school teacher, etc, then this course partially fulfils the requirements of Ofsted and the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS). Ofsted and the Early Years Foundation Stage require you to have 12 hours of paediatric first aid training, so the 2-Day Level 3 Award in Paediatric First Aid would be required to fulfil their requirements. Paediatric First Aid : 2 day course, units 1 & 2.

This course has been developed for those who are working with children and infants. It will be of particular interest to teachers, child minders, crèche assistants, playgroup personnel and anyone else who has a responsibility for their welfare whilst in your care.

It is ideal for individuals who are responsible for children and infants, who wish to gain a nationally regulated Level 3 Award.

This two-day course satisfies the guidelines and criteria as laid down by the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) and Ofsted. In order to obtain this qualification, you must attend both days and complete the two units of accreditation.

Mini Medics

First Aid Training for Children.

This is a very basic introduction to First Aid and Defibrillation aimed at children between the ages of 8 and 11, but it can suit children of any age.

The course is kept at a basic level with no use of confusing terminologies and will show complete respect for the child’s ability, make it educational and practical and instil the importance of helping someone who is poorly or injured.

Yes i’m a Approved training provider so you don’t need to be an approved training centre.
